3 technology centres in Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia sign an agreement with Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka
With the new course, the Cooperative Research Center CICnanoGUNE, the Material Physics Center CFM_Joint Center CSIC and UPV/EHU and BCMaterials (Basque Center on Materials, Applications and Nanostructures, Ikerbasque and the UPV/EHU have been committed. Thus, the three research centers have described Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka as a strategic project to promote the scientific vocations of young people, promote the scientific culture of society and disseminate local and current science. In this respect, for the initiative to be of sufficient size and scope, the signatories consider it very important that the agents of the scientific and technological network of the Basque Country be brought together.
Thanks to the agreement, the two research centres in Gipuzkoa and the research centre in Bizkaia will be collaborating with the Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka in Bilbao on 9 May 2020. The winners of Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka will be able to enjoy two days of stay at CICnanogune, CFM and BCMaterials to get to know the researchers and their activity.
Thus, this morning the collaboration agreements between the director of nanoGUNE, Txema Pitark, the director of the Physics Center of Materials (CFM, joint center CSIC and UPV/EHU), Daniel Sánchez Portal, the director of BCMaterials, Senen Lanceros Ménhuz and the director general of Eljon April.
