Due to the security measures taken to curb the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bizilabe leisure activity organized by Elhuyar and municipalities will be offered online as of November. Thus, young people between 10 and 17 years of age in Bilbao, Elgoibar and Tolosaldea will carry out science and technology activities in their homes.

To this end, young people will use the online platform that Elhuyar has prepared. In addition, they will have a “kit” composed of different materials that, together with the scientific education driver and the rest of their colleagues, will face different challenges in direct sessions. On the Bizilabe online platform, in addition to live sessions, you will find videos, publications, written documents of scientific and technological challenges or links of interest, among others.

When circumstances allow, the leap will be made from online to face-to-face, and scientific and technological activities will be organized in the villages, with the aim of expanding the Bizilabe communities of each area and strengthening the network, so that young people have positive experiences of all kinds with science and technology, as well as to meet professionals and professions in the environment.
