1- In San Sebastian, International Women's Science Day begins today with numerous activities until February 14. Nine Basque institutions (CIC nanoGUNE, Physics Center - CFM, CIC biomGUNE, Donostia International Physics Center - DIPC, Biodonostia, Tecnun-School of Engineers, Ceit, POLYMAT and Elhuyar) have joined together to develop a broad program of activities '2020' women. The aim of this initiative is to make the work of women working in science visible, to break the belief that scientific-technical activities are a matter for men and to promote the choice of scientific studies between girls and adolescents. Various activities have been organised (workshops, public talks, Ginkana, visits, etc.) aimed at all ages (families, adolescents, adults…) and has the active participation of Elhuyar.
