European project partners STEMFAIRNET visit the Italian I giovani e le scienze
This STEMfairnet project, led by Elhuyar, has a double objective: on the one hand, to promote the international network of scientific fairs and, on the other, to improve the experiences that scientific fairs offer young people, both to develop more competencies in science and technology, and to make them more inclusive.

The STEMFAIRNET project is aimed at Secondary Education youth participating in science fairs (12-18 years).
On 16, 17 and 18 March, representatives of the institutions involved in the project met with young people and teachers on the days of the Milan fair 'I giovani e le scienze' and then developed proposals for improvement for the organization and participation of the fairs. In addition, in the coming weeks they will visit two other scientific fairs: The National Exhibition of Ciênciazencia of Portugal and the Science-EXPO of Belgium.

Scientific fair 'I giovani e le scienze'
The main objectives of the Milan Fair are to bring young people closer to science and research, as well as to foster students' innovation and collaboration skills. More than 70 students participated in the three days.
The STEMFAIRNET project is funded by the Erasmus + programme and consists of: Elhuyar Foundation (Usurbil), Escolas D. Maria II (Braga), FAST - Federazione delle Associazioni Scientifiche e Tecniche (Milan), Fundação da Juventude (Porto), Milset Europe (Brussels) and IES Unamuno (Bilbao).
