More than 400,000 cultural items by 43 entities at www.ondarebideak.eus

heritage Bideak will present its new website next Friday, October 27, at 11 am at the Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea. Bideak heritage DSS2016 is the legacy of cultural capitality. The new portal has given more importance to digital images, creating a more attractive and intuitive platform, always maintaining the quality of the content offered. In fact, reference entities feed this space: Basque Film Library, Euskomedia Foundation, Eresbil, Naval Museum, or the Sancho el Sabio Foundation, among others.

Developed by the Elhuyar Foundation, Eusko Ikaskuntza and the IXA research group of the UPV/EHU, Patrimonios is presented as a collaborative virtual museum. In it, in addition to consulting the contents, users can interpret them creating routes (exhibitions). The aim of this project is to offer an innovative and creative way of approaching and interacting with heritage.

This platform, developed with free and open source software technologies, currently offers itineraries on different topics (cinema, music, architecture, history, gastronomy…). Many of them can also be carried out physically thanks to the added QR codes.

Users (both citizens and institutions) can vote on these cultural elements and itineraries, share them or comment them on social networks through interviews around the Basque cultural heritage.
