► The Caf-Elhuyar Award aims to strengthen scientific culture in society.

“Get the vaccine for scientific culture” is the motto of the 2015 edition of the CAF-Elhuyar Awards. In fact, to strengthen the scientific culture in society, it is essential to disseminate and integrate scientific and technological issues and research, and its objective is to reward and recognize those who perform it.

Therefore, in the 2015 edition of the CAF-Elhuyar Awards we will call the following categories:

Original outreach articles. In this category will be presented the works of dissemination of science and technology created in Basque, divided into two subcategories:

General disclosure articles with a prize of €2,000

Dissemination articles based on the author's doctoral thesis with a prize of €2,000.

Works of scientific journalism with a prize of 2.000 €. This category will present journalistic works, of any format and genre, created and published in Basque in 2015.

Scholarship of creation in science society, with a grant of 5.000 €. In this category will be presented projects in Basque that work the interaction between science/technology and society. Projects can have a scientific, artistic and sociological character, and their nucleus will be the contact between the scientific and the social.
