Our compañeras from Elhuyar, Aitziber Lasa Iglesias and Danel Solabarrieta Arrizabalaga, participated today, September 6, in the conference Education, base of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) organized by the UNESCO Chair Etxea.

The group ‘Peace and participation’ has presented the communication ‘Elhuyar Zientzia Azoka: experiences and community’.

The UNESCO Chair is a chair of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) on Sustainable Development and Environmental Education, which have been organized within the framework of the strategy of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development launched by the United Nations on 5.6 and 7 September.

The objective of these days is to share experiences and good practices (curricular, management, research…) both in the field of formal and informal education and in informal education for the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

These days are aimed at those who contribute to the achievement of SDGs in the educational field through their activities, proposals, research and actions (teachers, research staff, students, companies and associations related to education).
