#Nautical Experiments: CALENDAR MAY
In May, Elhuyar published the calendar of the #Nautical Experiments Full of Neurons and Challenges to Imagination. From May 4th, from Monday to Thursday, daily challenges will take place and, on Fridays, a colloquium with a young researcher, the plan proposed by Elhuyar with the calendar of Pocket Experiments.

Elhuyar has produced the May calendar on the Bizilabe website and has proposed four weeks of scientific and technological challenges. The challenges will sow imagination and neurons; they will encrypt and decrypt “secret messages”, create holograms, extract paintings on vegetables, build airplanes without engine, make proposals to observe curiosities of the world or dining rooms for birds, identify birds or see them in real time in nature, among other things. All of them can be carried out using the resources at home and from home.
These are actions aimed at young people between 10 and 15 years of age in general, but with the aim of promoting science and technology activities in the family sphere, it is intended to invite parents to face challenges with younger children.
Talks with researchers to inspire young people
A special plan for Fridays has been proposed in the May calendar. In fact, the appointment will be with a researcher who works in the world of science and technology in real life, to know the researcher and his/her activity closely and, through the knowledge of professionals, to reinforce the interest of young people in science and technology. In this way, every week, Elhuyar will explore the secrets of a Basque researcher, get to know his current projects, get to know his lives more closely, be asked about the way to do what is being done at the moment and, above all, want to know the most interesting anecdotes lived. These are interviews that can inspire young people, with the aim of transmitting their passion and knowledge. The researchers we will interview in May are:
- Maitane Alonso, a young Sodupean woman who travels around the world with her invention of being a participant at the Monastery Science Fair, we want to know and first interview the life of the young medical student. His passion is research and we're going to ask him for advice on the situation we live in now.
- Naima El Bani Altuna.Next we will talk to the Bilbais geologist investigating climate change in recent years in the Arctic, who is analyzing climate change in recent years and how it affects us today. Let's see what it tells us.
- Itziar Garate López. We go further, and we'll also be with the Zarauztarra astrophysicist who investigates the atmospheres of other planets.
- Lorea Argarate.Telecommunications engineer, musician and passionate Big Data bilbaíno, how many data do we give unintentionally when using the mobile phone? We will also ask you for recommendations.

A phrase to represent and collect the planes: the passion for what they do.
Experience and share! We invite you to spread on social networks the scientific and technological challenges you have made, with the hashtag #Experimentoak de #Nicolás.
