► It has four categories: two for outreach articles (with a prize of €2,000), one for journalism jobs (with a prize of €2,000) and a creation scholarship (€5,000).

In November, the 2015 edition of the CAF-Elhuyar awards began under the slogan “Get the vaccine for scientific culture”. In fact, to strengthen the scientific culture in society is fundamental the socialization of scientific and technological works, and the award aims to reward and recognize those who deal with it.

Participants can present their work in four categories:

Original outreach articles. This category supports science and technology outreach work created in Basque, divided into two subcategories:

General disclosure articles with a prize of €2,000

Dissemination articles based on the author's doctoral thesis with a prize of €2,000.

Works of scientific journalism with a prize of 2.000 €. This category supports journalistic works of any format and genre created and published in Basque in 2015.

Scholarship of creation in science society, with a grant of 5.000 €. This category supports projects that work on the interaction between science/technology and society, created in Basque. Projects can have a scientific, artistic and sociological character, and their nucleus will be the contact between the scientific and the social.
