LINGUATEC IA launches a consultation for project communication.
The aim of this contract is to support the 8 partners of the transnational cooperation project LINGUATEC IA, selected by the European programme INTERREG POCTEFA, in the effective communication of the project activities.

The project, continuation of the LINGUATEC project, aims to develop AI knowledge on new self-regressive linguistic models applicable to low-resource languages and their use to advance the digitisation of the languages of the
POCTEFA territory (Aragonese, Catalan, Basque and Occitan), and to build a cross-border linguistic and intelligent infrastructure that facilitates communication between speakers of different languages and multilingual access.
The main results of the project will be as follows:

• New algorithms and neural architectures to generate self-regressive linguistic models adapted to computer regimes and limited linguistic resources.
• Improvement of transcription systems, neural machine translation, and voice synthesis for the Basque, Catalan, Occitan, Aragonese and their dialectal variants, combined with French and Spanish.
• Development of a multilingual linguistic platform for automatic subtitling and dubbing.
• Online reference platform for resources, technologies and applications for Pyrenees languages.
• Consolidation of the "Cross-border network of excellence in language technologies".
