The CAF-Elhuyar Award aims to recognize and promote the integration of science and technology in Basque. This year's motto is the Jakintza vaccine, which can be presented until February 12 at the following address:cafelhuyarsariak.com

The award consists of three categories: outreach articles, journalism papers and creation scholarships. A novelty in this last category will be the delivery of two prizes instead of one. The other categories will remain the same:

• Original outreach articles. It is divided into two subcategories: general outreach articles and outreach articles based on the author's doctoral thesis. The winners of these subcategories will receive a prize of 2,000 euros, an annual subscription to the magazine Elhuyar and a sculpture by Imanol Andonegi Mendizabal.
• Works of scientific journalism. 2.000 euros, one year of subscription to the magazine Elhuyar and a sculpture.
• Grants of creation in Science Society. This category supports projects that work on the interaction between science/technology and society. The authors of the selected projects will receive a grant of 5,000 euros for their execution, as well as a sculpture.

As has been done in recent years, once again, the special NEIKER prize will be awarded to the best article related to the primary sector, endowed with 2,000 euros and compatible with other prizes.
