The Local Development Area of Ermua City Council has organized different workshops and programs related to STEAM technology and skills: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. All initiatives are aimed at children born between 2005 and 2009 and will begin in September.
The workshops will be held in Basque from 2 to 6 September in the Izarra Centre building. The projects worked in the workshop will be taken to the regional fair to be held on 28 September in the Bajo Deba.
On the other hand, in the same days No limits! Elhuyar will offer a home design workshop for everyone. Taking functional homes for people with special needs as the focus, young people will have to overcome a number of challenges. For this they will be formed in a playful way on STEAM themes. Imagination, labor, reflection, teamwork and fun will be the cares.The inscription sheet can be filled here.

In addition to the September workshops, the Bizilabe technology initiative in Ermua will begin in October. This is an after-school program aimed at children, which will be extended throughout the course. In Bizilabe, participants will be able to build the technology project they want, with the collaboration of experts and professionals from the sector.
The program will begin on October 3, 2019 and will run every Thursday in two shifts:
- 11 and 12 years: 17:00 to 18:30
- 13 and 14 years: 18:30 to 20:00
