The session summarizing the celebration will take place on March 2 at 13.30 in ETB1 and the next day at the same time in ETB2.

Teknopolis offered his first performance at ETB 20 years ago. Since then, this program produced by Elhuyar has been weekly in the first two ETB chains, with the aim of bringing science and technology to the public in an entertaining way, giving priority to local centers and researchers.

Thus, during all these years the sponsors and participants of the event gathered at the anniversary celebration. The event took place in the EiTB Multibox Room and took the form of awarding prizes enlivened with humor.

The award ceremony is directed by Iñaki Leturia, presenter of Yurrita Teknopolis and Alaitz Ochoa of Eribe Agirre. They have taken the stage to deliver and collect the prizes respectively: Maite Iturbe Mendialdua (EiTB) and Itziar Laka Mugarza (UPV-EHU); Iñigo Ansola Kareaga (EVE) and Amaia Zurut-Elorza (Graphenea); Vicente Atxa Uribe (MU) and V-Arturo Elosegi Irurtia

The awards have been symbolic: with the excuse that it is the international year of the Periodic Table, the winners have received two chemical elements related to their research: gold, oxygen, mercury, hydrogen, meitnium...

The award ceremony includes a selection of videos representing the program's trajectory, a humour monologue and a scientific demonstration with an acoustic levitator.
