On February 7, that is, within a month, the deadline to present the works to the CAF-Elhuyar awards ends. The motto of this year is Zubiri-zubiri, with the aim of recognizing, rewarding and promoting the scientific-technological field and the work of people working in the sector of bridges between society.

It is an award for all scientists, journalists and creators, whether scientific or not, as well as promoting gender equality in the scientific-technological field.

The prize categories are:

Original outreach articles. It is divided into two subcategories: general outreach articles and outreach articles based on the author's doctoral thesis. The winner of each subcategory will receive a prize of 2,000 euros, a year of subscription to the magazine Elhuyar and a sculpture by Imanol Andonegi Mendizabal.

Works of scientific journalism. With 2,000 euros, one year of subscription to the magazine Elhuyar and awarded sculpture.

Scholarship of creation in Science Society. This category supports projects that work on the interaction between science/technology and society. The author of the selected project receives a grant of 5,000 euros for its execution, as well as a sculpture.

In addition, this year will also be awarded the special NEIKER prize for the best article related to the primary sector, endowed with 2,000 euros and compatible with other prizes.
