SUBJECT:Zientzia Azoka 2015 Awards Ceremony

Location: Plaza Nueva in Bilbao

PARTICIPANTS:

- 204 YOUTH, organized in 65 groups, will show the work done throughout the year. Young people from the following ESO and Baccalaureate centres participated in the Zientzia Azoka: IES Alaitz BHI (Pamplona), Arizmendi ikastola (Eskoriatza), IES Arrigorriaga (Arrigorriaga), IES Askatasuna (Burlada), Begoñazpi Ikastola (Bilbao), C.E. San Mames Peñascal, S. Coop. Elc. (Bilbao), IES Eunate (Pamplona), Escolapios Hirukide (Tolosa), IES Cruces BHI (Barakaldo), IES Plaza de la Cruz (Pamplona), Colegio La Anunciata (San Sebastián), Lauxeta Ikastola (Amorebieta), Lauro ikastola (Spain). Azkue Ikastola (Lekeitio). In addition, a winning team participated in the Catalan Exporecerca: Institut Thalassa.

- Awards ceremony:

- Begoña Garamendi Ibarra, Director of Educational Innovation of the Department of Education, Linguistic Policy and Culture of the Basque Government. Mention by methological rigor.

- María Jesús del Blanco, Bilbao City Council, Director of the Economic Promotion Area of Bilbao Ekintza. Bilbao Prize. Mention of the most creative / original work.

- Eva Armesto, Head of the Business Promotion Service of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia. Mention for his great contribution.

- Xabier Díaz Silvestre, Director of the BTEK Technology Interpretation Center. Mention: because it has promoted a plural collaboration.

- Jose Luis Lekanda, Communications Manager at IK4. Special mention of the jury.

- Joseba Jauregizar Bilbao, General Manager of Tecnalia.Mention: For its relevance in Bio/Health.

- Look at Nekane Errasti Lozares, academic coordinator of the Polytechnic College of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Mention for good communication.

- Fernando Plazaola, Vice-Rector for Research at UPV/EHU. Mention: Al trabajo más “completo”, Bachillerato 1-2

- Txema Pitarke, president of Elhuyar. Mention: recognition to teachers
