Codefest is immersed this week in Donostia summer classes. Since Monday, with the aim of revitalizing minority languages, Tabakalera is offering effective tools for electronic communication and its use. In a one-week practical course, current language technologies are being studied and applications are being developed, in auzolan, with the incorporation of linguists, software engineers and students.

The school is open and anyone can participate, the passion for the language and the desire to do something for it are the only necessary conditions.

Elhuyar is one of the school organizers and participates directly in two projects: «Mare» and «Multilingual questions and answers challenging with Wikipedia».

On the other hand, tomorrow there will be a conference at the head of a European project in which we are participating: Claudia Soria, researcher at the Institute of Computational Linguistics Consiglio Nacionalista delle Ricerche (Pisa, Italy). We are working with him on the DLDP project.

Classes will end on Friday and at the end of the week there will be a Wikipedia. According to minority languages, articles on San Sebastian will be written and translated into as many languages as possible.
