The Rikardo Arregi Journalism Awards ceremony has been special. Precisely, it has turned 30 years and, to celebrate its anniversary, has decided to award ten communicative projects that have marked a milestone in journalism in Basque. One of them was Elhuyar magazine. According to the director

Aitziber Agirre Ruiz de Arkaute, was “an honor” the choice of the magazine Elhuyar, the magazine Anaitasuna, Zeruko Argia/Argia, Ttipi-Ttapa, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the UPV, the group EITB, together with Euskaliraria Baregaria

According to the jury, among other reasons, were the following: “Euskera is a means of communication that looks at science and has made science known in Basque. Halley kite, health and medical issues, mechanical and digital technology, biology... He has dealt with and disseminated these and other issues in Basque."

Juan Ignacio Pérez Iglesias presented the award to director Aitziber Agirre, who thanked him on behalf of the entire team. He also thanked all the people who have supported the magazine year after year and recalled the work done by the magazine: to socialize information on science and technology in order to foster a critical and judgmental view.
