We have just held the first meeting of the COMBI project in the city of Leeuward in Frisia (Holland), together with partners from four other European countries. The COMBI project, located in the care sector for the elderly, aims to seek a methodological response for the training of staff working in bilingual work situations in their specific language needs in their day to day. The needs of migrant workers will be especially taken into account. The project will last three years and will include the participation of language communities such as Welsh, Sicilian, Swedish (Finnish Swedish community), Frisiera and Basque.

In the case of Euskal Herria, we will take part the association Banaiz Bagara and Elhuyar Aholkularitza. It will work with a multidisciplinary approach and will work the methodology taking into account professional, cultural, sociolinguistic and political situations. It will be an opportunity to share experiences, learn from others and learn together. You know!
