The University of Education Sciences of Lithuania (LUES), the Association Régionale de Parents d'Enfants Inadaptés (ARPEI) of France, the company Limbika of San Sebastian and Elhuyar (Eleka) will meet today and tomorrow (13 and 14 May) to launch the European project Literallusbil.

The objective of this project is to develop an application that helps children with autism or with special needs to develop reading and writing. Literacy can be a milestone for these children to participate in society and develop as people. Through ICTs, a tool to support these children will be developed within this project. The work will be done using cheap open source platforms, so that children in need have access to the application without this being an obstacle to its cost. It is intended to be used in local languages.
