Presentation of the Wooden Dictionary at the Durango Fair
On Friday, December 4, Laneki Elkartea and Arotzgi Gipuzkoako Arotztaldea will present the Wooden Dictionary.
The dictionary is based on the Illustrated Woodworking Dictionary – Illustrated Woodworking Glossary, created by carpenter Carlos Belaunzaran. To organize the information in a database and prepare the consultation application, the authors have been advised by the Elhuyar Language and Technology unit.

This online dictionary includes 3,783 carpentry concepts. 4,976 terms in Basque and 4,841 in Spanish, of which 1,156 are illustrated.
This initiative will be managed by the Laneki Association and the Group of Carpenters of Gipuzkoa Arotzgi, and will allow the user to make any contribution related to the carpentry.
The presentation will take place at the Durango Fair on December 4 at 15:30.
