The objective of the PLOTINA project is to develop, implement and evaluate equality plans adapted to the research organizations participating in it. The project members officially started the initiative at the launch meeting of the University of Bologna.
"PLOTINA: The overall objective of the project “Promoting Gender Balance and Inclusion in Research, Innovation and Training” is to provide research organizations involved in innovative and sustainable strategies with the development, implementation and evaluation of tailored equality plans.
The concrete objectives of PLOTINA are the creation of tools that favor the professional development of researchers, especially in the case of women, so that this talent is not wasted; the correction of inequalities in decision-making processes; and the integration of gender and sex variables in programmatic and research content to promote excellence.
The consortium consists of the following entities: University of Bologna (Italy), University of Warwick (United Kingdom), Mondragon Unibertsitatea (Basque Country), Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestao (Portugal), Kemijski Institut (Slovenia), Ozyegin Universitesi (Turkey), Zentrum fur Sociale Basque University, Donumh University.
