►Elhuyar presents the details of Zientzia Azoka, with the collaboration of sponsors and collaborators

►The young researchers fair will be held on Saturday, throughout the day, at Plaza Nueva in Bilbao

The program of the Zientzia Azoka of this year has just been presented. Koldo Narbaiza, councilor of the Basque Country and Education Area of the City of Bilbao, Begoña Garamendi, Director of Educational Innovation of the Department of Education, Linguistic Policy and Culture of the Basque Government, and Leire Cancio, General Director of Elhuyar, presented the details

From 12 noon to 8 pm, young people aged 12 to 18 will present at the Plaza Nueva the research and technological projects developed during the course. Nearly a hundred groups will meet, of which 21 are related to health, 25 are related to environment and ecology, 22 engineering or technology, 9 energy and 7 social sciences.

In addition, all attendees can enjoy the scientific show and experiments. In addition, the offer extends to the whole family, as some primary school children will also have tables of experiments.

The fair will close with the recognition of the work done throughout the year. Among others, some groups may attend other national and foreign fairs and others will hold stays in Euskaltel, Iberdrola, Visiontech4Life Consortium, Tecnalia Technology Corporation, IK4 Technology Centers or CAT.

In the presentation, together with those mentioned in the introduction, all the sponsors and collaborators of Zientzia Azoka have been present: Nerea Lupardo (Director of Institutional Relations of Euskaltel), Francisco Olarreaga Tellechea (Institutional Delegation of Iberdrola in the Basque Country), José Pablo Ormaetxea (Consorcio Visiontech4Life), Gorka Artola Beobide (Vice-Rector of University-Business Relations of UPV Technological Scientist) and Xabier Díaz Silvestre (Director of BTEK).
