The ceremony of the awards of the 10th edition of the video contest ON Zientzia, organized by DIPC and Elhuyar, was to be a special event to commemorate the first decade of the contest. The extraordinary health emergency situation has limited the celebration to the virtual world, but the event has been attractive in any case: Teknopolis has issued a special program to publicize the winners of the ON Zientzia contest and interview the authors.

With the micropaleontology gallets, the secrets hidden by a drop of water, a special look at science and a humorous cognitive spill have been the winning videos this year.

Although the Covid-19 crisis has affected the awards ceremony, it has not been so with participation in the contest: more work has been collected than ever in this edition, 89, highlighting the total gender balance among participants.

The jury of this edition of ON Zientzia has been composed of: Marian Iriarte, dean and scientific disseminator of the Faculty of Chemistry of the UPV/EHU; Onintze Salazar, Basque physicist; Txema Muñoz, member of the Basque Film Library and head of the Kimuak program; Nora González, PhD in Physics and Communications Officer of the DIPC; and Nagore Rementeria.
