Only 20% of physics researchers are women.

While
this percentage is higher in other scientific and technological disciplines, parity is far away. To change the situation it is essential to take into account education, but often scientific teachers have difficulties and lack of knowledge to integrate the gender perspective in the teaching.Through the European project STING,
Elhuyar has developed and tested a methodology and material aimed at these teachers, which now, once completed, has put at their disposal. It is now available in Basque and English.
Elhuyar will incorporate this training into his projects such as Zientzia Azoka.
