As of March, Elhuyar Zientzia eta Teknologia magazine is published every three months. Thus, the last issue has now been published, with the goal of always: to make known science and technology, paying special attention to the science and technological development that is carried out in our country.

The magazine Elhuyar collects short news, reports, interviews, opinion texts and works awarded in the 2014 edition of the CAF-Elhuyar awards.
One of the reports focuses on the problems posed by the binary sexual division of newborns, which necessarily has to be named boy or girl. In the report, beyond the classification of both sexes, the researcher of the Faculty of Medicine of the UPV/EHU, José Antonio Rodríguez, and the sexologist Aingeru Mayor and president of the Association of Parents of Transsexual Children, Chrysalis Euskal Herria, have explained their vision and have made proposals to change the situation.
Another report focuses on sustainable buildings: what they are, how they achieve energy efficiency and what other aspects they consider. The report leads to zero and the photographs show the spectacularity of these buildings. An example is Orona Cero. In addition, the article is completed with the advances applicable to housing and rehabilitation of the population.
The Ber2tek project, the flowers found in a Palaeolithic tomb, the biography of neuroscientist Atxukarro and the Ikergazte congress also have room in the pages of Elhuyar magazine.
Among those interviewed are the PhD in Mathematics, Naiara Arrizabalaga, and the UPV Vice-Rector for Research, Fernando Plazaola.
