“Get the vaccine for scientific culture” is the motto of the CAF-Elhuyar 2015 awards. This is the aim of the event: to support scientific culture by recognizing and rewarding the work of disseminators, researchers and creators who socialize scientific and technological issues.
In addition, the organization claims that scientific culture is part of the culture, and proof of this is the place chosen for the award ceremony: Tabakalera, International Centre for Contemporary Culture. There will be known, from 18:00, who will receive the prizes in the three categories that the contest has.
In addition to these categories, the contest has a Merit Award awarded by the Board of the Elhuyar Foundation. This year will be picked up by the zoologist and writer Kepa Altonaga Sustatxa. Altonaga has been awarded three times in the Caf-Elhuyar Awards, but this time she will receive recognition for her great work in the scientific dissemination and normalization of Basque throughout her career.
