Through this agreement, both agents will work together for linguistic normalization and the socialization of science and technology

The City of Usurbil and the Elhuyar Foundation have signed this Wednesday at the House of Culture Potxoenea of Usurbil the agreement that represents a good relationship between both. This agreement is an extension of the agreement signed in 2014. The signing ceremony was attended by the mayor of Usurbil, Xabier Arregi, and the president of the Elhuyar Foundation, Txema Pitarke, who praised the agreement reached. Through this agreement, both agents will work together on the road to the normalization of Basque and the socialization of science and technology.

In order to develop this collaboration, Elhuyar must develop an annual plan in which certain collaborations with the city council are concretized, either through translation, consultancy or any other service. The City of Usurbil will offer a grant of 10,000 euros. Usurbil City Council “recognizes the work done by the Elhuyar Foundation, based in Usurbil, and sees with good eyes the signing of this agreement to support as much as possible the activities that have as a social objective”.
