ElkarOla is a project carried out in collaboration between Elhuyar, the research groups IXA and Aholkularitza of the UPV and the technological centers Vicomtech-IK4 and Tecnalia. This biennial strategic project (2015-2016) has received the grant from the Basque Government, funded in part by the Department of Economic Development and Infrastructure through the Elkartek call and with the support of the Department of Culture and Linguistic Policy.

In ElkarOla, in addition to basic research, applied research is also carried out, technology transfer is given importance and tools can be socialized and/or marketed. We have worked in the fields of application of advanced manufacturing, biosciences and health, and the territory, especially the cultural and language industry, emphasizing the areas of the RIS3 of the Basque Government.

As a sample of the possible applications of the technologies worked in the project, we have developed three demos that we will present at a press conference: a dialogue agent for customer service in the territorial area, a search engine of terms and health relations for the field of biosciences and health, and a teleassistance system between the expert and the operator for the field of advanced manufacturing real time.
