What is cetonemia? And the pool Txoriandre? Do you know what a rabdomer is? These are some of the thousands of entries in Elhuyar's Encyclopedic Dictionary of Science and Technology; the terms in Basque are paid in Spanish, French and English. Thanks to the agreement between EWKE and the Elhuyar Foundation, 6,500 of them have already moved up to Wliquidat. With these brief descriptions we will obtain great benefits both in Wikipedia and in Elhuyar, but above all users who every day seek the meaning of specialized terms will be beneficiaries.

The new ZT dictionary is a freely licensed published dictionary. Elaborated by experts, it includes leading concepts in terminology, in addition to the terms and definitions in Basque, the terms in other languages. There are thousands and thousands of concepts, many of which were not included in Wikipedia in Euskera or had no definition in Wiki. We wanted to solve this problem in a beneficial way for all.

Wliquidated definitions are short phrases that help identify a term. These are definitions that currently appear in mobile searches, and the more services there are, the more services will use terminology in Basque to inform. In Wliquidation two concepts are collected: how to say (label) and definition in each language. And we have had the opportunity to climb both thanks to the technology developed by Elhuyar.

The first 6,500 elements have been made according to a pairing system: once the concept has been searched in English, French and Spanish and has been paired with the database available to Elhuyar, we have offered a number of definitions that we could almost assume. They have subsequently been reviewed and uploaded to Wlikata. There are now many more Basque terms in the Wikipedia system, and many articles can put appropriate Basque terms, for example.

Elhuyar has associated all these concepts with a new property. Thus, in addition to the four languages we offer in our system, we have the possibility to introduce links to 300 other languages present in Wikipedia. Therefore, in the future it will be possible that, in addition to the concepts in English, Spanish and French, thousands of concepts are received in Basque in Arabic, Russian or Chinese, for example.

This has been the first part of the agreement between EWKE and Elhuyar, and soon more definitions will be raised by analyzing the items to be reviewed.
