Sagardoa Bidegileak, the first documentary made jointly by Elhuyar and Pixel Audiovisual Production, has had its premiere at the festival. And the response of the public has been the best expected: all tickets sold in two hours were sold out. Then came the criticism, which has also been very good.

Sagardoa is a cultural, gastronomic, historical and scientific trip around cider. Cider has been of great importance in Basque society. For example, the structure of the hamlet, which we know today, comes from cider. Another remarkable reality is the presence of women linked to cider making, from cider makers to cider customers.

From now on, the goal is to participate in other international festivals. In this sense we have already received some invitation, but we still can not specify. In addition, the audiovisual will be broadcast in the chains ETB1 and ETB2 in 2016 and from January, coinciding with the cider season, you can see in cinemas in Euskal Herria.
