With the collaboration of the Language and Technology Unit of Elhuyar, Idoia Santamaría, the translators of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia studied yesterday and today some guidelines for the correct translation of Basque into Spanish.

The teacher sent two texts before the course for translation. And now, from the translations made by the students, the seminar is jointly studying the questions of order, colloquiations, phraseology, the organization of paragraphs, the proper use of connectors, spelling cones, the position of adjectives, the organization of sentences...

In addition, today there will be a correction session with texts that the teacher will deliver in the course.

Finally, Idoia will provide DFB translators with basic bibliographic information so that they can see what work is based on the course.
